Quality standards
Challenge Electronics has a long standing commitment to quality and this has culminated in the company achieving approval to the international quality standard ISO9001:2000. Approval to this standard was initially established in the year 2000 and this has been maintained through annual quality audits by the approving authority.
In addition to ISO9001:2000 Challenge Electronics has been quality audited by many individual companies prior to the placement of particular manufacturing contracts. Of note amongst these are Glaxo Smith Kline (GSK), Siemens Landis & Staefa and British Telecom.
ISO9001:2000 approval means that the company has a quality system in place which is complemented by a manual which it adheres to. This ensures that any defects are corrected and fed back into the manufacturing system to help eliminate re-occurrence.
Another area of quality approval has been the gaining of CE mark endorsement for many products designed and manufactured over the years by the company. |
